Name: Alaska

Profile: Team Alaska is a diverse group of Artists, living in the largest state. We face unique, different challenges and issues to being an artist here in a land that is vastly remote and rural. Many of our communities are only reached by air, ferry, or dog sleds, and we have only one highway into Alaska from Canada.


To become a member you need to currently live in Alaska or have lived here
to understand the issues faced in Alaska as artists. Then contact one of
the Team Leaders with your shop’s name and current email address for
receiving team information, newsletters, and updates to current events in Alaska.


Team Alaska goal:
Inform our communities about Team Alaska’s diverse shops by promoting Etsy
in our communities. Then challenge and support each other by contests,
promotions, team members sharing booth space in community
markets/fairs/bazaars and weekly forum Team postings.

Bear Paw Festival July 11 - 13 Eagle River, Southeast Alaska State Fair Haines July 24 - 27, Tanana Valley Fair Fairbanks August 1 - 9, State Fair Palmer August 21 - September 1, Christmas Arts & Crafts Program at new ‘Dena’ina Civic Center’ Anchorage November 22 - 23 this is one of the States Largest crafts shows for Alaskans and Anchorage area; get a group together from your local area and book space to showcase your crafts! I will be adding others as their dates come up.
