Profile: Etsy Artists of Color is a global collective of artists and artisans who sell on Etsy.com, the leading online marketplace for buying unique arts and crafts. The group's mission is to establish and maintain a distinctive group presence in the arts world, thereby creating greater opportunities for individual sales. We will do this by continuously shining a spotlight on works by EAOC members, to enhance their brand recognition online and offline, resulting in increased sales. We are a dynamic organization of emerging creative talent from the U.S. and around the world whose members include fine artists, jewelry and accessories designers, and photographers. Their works span the gamut, from one-of-a-kind items to limited edition collectibles. Etsy Artists of Color provides members a support system through which promotional and other marketing ideas are generously exchanged. Working together as an Etsy Street Team, Etsy Artists of Colors' core activities will include (but are not limited to): * A collaborative blog, where all members can showcase and market their own goods. * Themed occasion promotions such as Black History Month, Kwaanza, Christmas, Mother's Day, and other cultural holidays celebrated around the world (TBD by interested members). * Etsy Treasuries * Initiatives to place articles in the Storque, with a link to the EAOC blog. * Where possible, cooperative vendor booths at major cultural fairs e.g., Essence Festival, etc.
