Profile: We are a group of people with ASD, parents, caregivers, & loved ones of children on the Autism Spectrum. Some of us sell our hand made goods on Etsy to help raise Autism Awareness. Some of us sell items that cater to the needs of the ASD & Special Needs community. Others are trying cover some of the expenses that come with having a child with Autism. But we all have one common goal: to raise awareness. The team periodically votes on an organization/charity to support & promote. We will talk about them in the forums, and try to grab treasuries to bring attention to them. No one is REQUIRED to donate to these charities/organizations. but if you are able to: chose an item in your shop and when that item sells, you can donate a portion of the profit to whatever the current organization is. We all realize what the expenses are in a family affected by Autism. Donating will be on an individual & anonymous basis. A link to the donation page of the organization will be provided in the "links" section of the team's main group on Yahoo. This team was created to provide a community that can share stories, experiences, advice, support & ideas with each other while we navigate this ocean of treatments & therapies... and maybe help some great organizations along the way!
