Name: Arizona Crafty Burrito Collective Profile: Arizona is known for it's extreme heat, the colors of the sky, and monsoons. It takes a special breed of people to survive this heat, but come September and October the weather becomes humid, cooler, and bearable to outside life. That's when most of us come out of hibernation and show what we did during those 118-degree temperature days and nights. There are an amazing amount of talented artists all over Arizona. staceyrebecca Meetings are downtown Phoenix, however artists in the group hail from all over the valley (from Surprise to Gilbert to Laveen to Scottsdale) You'll have a network of supportive artists to travel down the road of crafting with. That's pretty darn cool. We meet at the Great Arizona Puppet Theater at 7pm If you'd like to RSVP to staceyrebecca to let us know you're coming, that'd be neat, but not necessary. Name: Desert Indie Designers Profile: Desert Indie Designers is a group of artisans in the Tucson Metro area. We include members of all trades, from woodworking to ceramics to jewelry to fiber arts, and beyond. Our goals are to pool our resources and knowledge in order to foster our growth as people, as artisans, and as businesses. We work to form relationships with other local businesses and organizations in the community and to develop awareness of the importance of the handmade movement.
