Profile: We are a group of handmade artisans, crafters, and artists inspired by Blythe! We have taken the pledge to BUY and SELL handmade! We have seen the interest in Blythe grow thanks to our exposure on Etsy, and we are committed to keep the Blythe interest growing both within and outside of Etsy! Membership requires 100% positive feedback, a commitment to Etsy Terms of Use, and adherence to the Do's and Don't as outlined by Etsy. Our mission is to spread the love for Blythe, support fellow Blythe shops, help guide shops to success within Etsy, and to award Better Blythe Business awards to shops that show exceptional Etsian business philosophy and actions.

Membership to our group is by invitation only, at the moment. We are trying to gather a group of artists that will also serve as mentors to fellow Blythe shops. Once we get thru this growth stage, we will be opening up our group to all Etsy shops that have taken the handmade pledge. It is our philosophy that artists should be listing their best work on Etsy if they are to attract like-minded buyers. We know that many artists have off-site marketplaces they list some of their best items on, and we encourage that high quality, handmade items be listed in their Etsy shop as well.

Blythe Handmade Collective is for serious artists that wish to take their business to the next level, who are willing to take on the responsibility and challenge that entails. This means you are actively working on your business as a whole; improving the pictures in your shop, open to constructive feedback, listing a new piece more than twice a week (at the very minimum), taking the time to actively promote your work, and to collaborate and communicate with other members on group activities and votes. Membership entails a commitment to continue to challenge yourself as an artist, using Blythe as your inspiration.

Our first plan of action is a Blythe Handmade Collective shop with donated items from members. The use of those funds will be decided upon for our first vote.
