How to Join:Contact the leader listed above. We are looking to ensemble a group of artisans who share a love of historical costume design & construction & whose work is deeply steeped in nostalgia. To this end, all items must be executed using old world techniques & quality materials & be reminiscent of a bygone era. All items must also possess a unique & strong design statement & compliment the work of the artisans currently featured. All members will be expected to have at least 6 items over $125 listed at all times.
All applicants work will be juried & we reserve the right to withhold membership as we see fit. Please do not take this personally : )
IMPORTANT �As a member of Fancy Goods, you will be expected to participate in promotional activities at least once a week. As the group expands, we will announce set goals, which may include developing our own web site and promoting that web site via Press Releases and other resources. Expect to participate in blogging and contributing financially to print ads, web development/maintenance and promotional materials as the occasion arrives, therefore, only serious, committed artists should apply.
Fancy Goods is a drama free, non-competitive, mutually supportive group. Snarkiness & flare-ups, will therefore not be humored.
