Our members are just as dedicated to using recycled materials in their creations as they are about recycling packaging. We take the safety of the environment in mind in the way that we run our small businesses and create our sales items. During our team's growth, we have become heavily focused on promoting eco-living as a whole; every facet of our lifestyle can be more eco-friendly, and our team has come to focus strongly on this all-around outlook.

Team EcoEtsy strives to be highly active, and we encourage our members to participate in the many events and opportunities organized as well as attend team meetings on a fairly regular basis. When considering requesting membership in our team, ask yourself the following: 1. What ways do I apply eco-friendly practices to my Etsy shop? 2. Am I going to be able to dedicate at least 30 minutes a week to participating in discussions, blog posts, charity events, promo swaps, or other events the team has organized? 3. Am I prepared to help promote the team with the same dedication as the team leaders and current members will work to promote my shop? After you answer these questions to yourself, if you feel like EcoEtsy is a good fit for you, please contact EcoKate.etsy.com via convo and let her know that you believe you can contribute to EcoEtsy and our mission, and that you'd like to be a member. Also be sure to include an email address or preferably a Yahoo ID if you have one, so that EcoKate can send you an invite to our mandatory Yahoo group where the team communicates on a daily basis.
