Profile: Trillium Artisans is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help local low-income artisans in Portland, OR to increase their small business income. We have a retail store as well as an Etsy collective shop, and a shop on WorldofGood.com by eBay. All of the products we carry are made using a minimum of 50% recycled or reclaimed materials.



We offer a range of small-business support services to our members, including help with setting up Etsy shops, paypal accounts, blogs, email marketing accounts, and facebook profiles to help them sell and promote their work online. We also have monthly meetings and workshops with guest speakers, a google group to share resources and information, a facebook group, and shared booths at craft shows and wholesale shows. We offer credit card processing, product development coaching, small business counseling, and referrals for matched savings accounts, credit repair, legal help, and much more, thanks to the City of Portland’s Economic Opportunity Initiative, our main source of funding. We are also funded by the Oregon Arts Commission (for whom we have developed a class on “How to Sell on Etsy.com”), the Spirit Mountain Community Fund, and the Campaign for Human Development.
