Profile: Since "Everything's Bigger in Texas", we have chosen to have one great big Etsy Team open to all Texans and Texans-at-Heart! We represent every part of our great state, from Abilene to Zephyr and every town in between! We even have "misplaced" Texans living across the US and around the world who have joined us in promoting Etsy, ETC, each other, and ourselves!
We currently have 500+ ETC team members, and we are always more than happy to welcome in more Texan (or Texan-at-Heart) sellers and buyers who are interested in helping to spread Etsy love! You can join our team by simply completing and submitting the membership request form (link below or via the main page of our ning site). We are not a juried team, and we do not charge dues or have participation requirements in order to maintain membership. We are simply a big group of friendly folks dedicated to promoting Etsy, our team, our team members, and ourselves.
Our team is managed by a Leadership Team consisting of DeathlyCute, GrandmaMarilyns, ItsMeCheri, HandmadeWhimzy, LavenderLizard, MiaSophia, RHRadcliffeDesigns, SweetWolf, ThePaperElephant, and Thistlecraft (this may change as folks change positions, so be sure to check our team shop profile for the most current list of Leadership Team members).

Meetings and Events: We meet online in Etsy's Virtual Labs on the First Sunday afternoon and the Third Tuesday night of every month. These meetings are open to all ETC members. We also have monthly chat threads in the Etsy Teams forum to help members get to know each other and feel more a part of our team (since all of us meeting in person is not likely).
We do have local ETC Mini Teams, based on our members' locations, who meet in person and participate in local events. For more information about our Mini Teams, please contact ItsMeCheri or Thistlecraft.
Spend Your Mondays with Etsy Texas Crafters! We hold different team promotional events every Monday -- information is always posted in the Announcements section of our team shop as well as on our blog, and you can find us in the Etsy Forums every Monday!

Profile: The Etsy Austin team is a group of Etsy artists living in the Austin area who've come together to befriend, help & inspire each
other; network & share business tips; engage in promotional activities
for the team; get involved in the Austin indie craft scene; and have
fun! This is a street team that will meet in person regularly and
host/participate in local arts and crafts events.We're here to nurture
creativity and small businesses, and encourage shopping locally and
buying handmade.
Goals: The goal of this team is to help each team member make a name
for him/herself in Austin, while promoting each other and the goodness
of Etsy!
Team Requirements:
1) Come to as many meetings as you can. This team is about being
active locally, meaning getting together in person & getting to know
each other, so don't bother joining the team if you aren't interested
in doing that!
2) State "Proud member of the EtsyAustin street team" in the Shop
Announcement of your Etsy shop.
3) Tag all of your items with the team tag, teametsyaustin.
4) Join our REQUIRED YAHOO GROUP so you can stay in-the-know; it's our
primary means of communication.

How to Join: To join, contact Bridget, a.k.a. happybuddha. All Etsy sellers who reside in the greater Austin area & wish to meet other Austin area sellers are welcome to join, regardless of the type of art or craft you make & sell. All ages & backgrounds are welcome, whether you have been selling your wares for a long time or haven't made your first sale yet. Vintage sellers are welcome too, but many team events will be aimed at the promotion and sale of members' handmade goods.
Meetings and Events: EVEN MONTHS: Second Tues. of the month; 7:00 PM
LOCATION: The Milago Club Room (more details on our Yahoo calendar, available once you are a member)
