Profile: Our team intends to create a place where Spanish artists find a way to promote they work. Spain is having a high development on crafts, which is something new here, and we want to show it to the world. There are tones of Spanish shops here in Etsy and we want to be able to share experiences (shipping overseas, selling on a different language than usual, etc. ) and promote Spanish art, since we think it’s very unknown. There are teams on Etsy featuring Hispanic sellers, but that’s a question of language. We don’t want to share only a language, but a way of living. Our team is opened to every Spanish crafter, whether it’s a Spanish-born one or a Spanish-based one. For you to understand: we want to create a team where every shop shipping from Spain will be able to find a place to share this unique way of living we have in Spain. We want to express our tastes, our philosophy, our rhythm, our lifes here in Spain. Spain does not only mean paella, toreros, beaches and sunbathing. Spain means much more things we want the world to know, that’s why we are creating this team. Spain as an European country where the immense sunlight brings us great ideas for our crafting creations.

Meetings and Events: We are planning a few meetings on the chat rooms here in Etsy, but the main point where we meet at this time is our flickr group, there is a great forum for we all to help each other on the “etsy adventure”. We participate there almost daily! It would be also great to have a greet in-person meeting, we plan to make it as soon as we meet each other enough… We’ll have to decide a city, and then everyone interested on it will be able to attend.
